Loved the privacy of a caravan. It was lovely and clean, plenty of space and nice and warm, with central heating, as it was only March. Mrs B, Manchester, Lancashire 28 March 2011
I would recommend, the service and reception from booking to being received, was excellent. Mrs L, Leyland, Lancashire 04 January 2011
Great if you want to be away from it all. Mrs M, LEEDS, West Yorkshire 05 November 2010
Great base for exploring the Southern Lakes which are much quieter and less touristy. Mrs W, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire 17 October 2010
This was our first holiday in a static caravan and we were a bit nervous about what we would experience however it was fantastic. The site was lovely and peaceful and Linda was very friendly and helpful. The caravan was very well equipped, to a high standard, warm, comfortable and clean. Port Haverigg is a quiet site and a great base for visiting a lot of the Lake District. The South Lakes Animal Park and Muncaster Castle are both excellent for visiting and within 45 minutes drive from Port Haverigg. We will definitely book another Hoseasons holiday. Mrs C, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire 17 October 2010
The park is well maintained, the setting is great and it's good for dog walking. We had an excellent reception from helpful staff. Most enjoyable few days.....the weather was fantastic as well!! Ms J, Rochdale, Lancashire 13 October 2010
If you want a nice, quiet, relaxing holiday in an ideal location for the coast and Lake District then this is the place for you. Mrs D, Blackpool, Lancashire 05 September 2010
Really good place to stay with dogs and kids. The layout of the site was excellent as there was a grassy area for little ones to play which can be seen from caravan.
the caravan which allowed dogs was to a high standard and we really like that it had a balcony and central heating! There was a lovely dog walking area recommended by the site manager, it was out of the way and had lovely views. Food was available on site over the weekend which offered very good value for money.
Mrs M, Stockport, Cheshire 15 June 2010

We stayed in one of the best equipped caravans we have ever been in, the lady who met us was very helpful, and the park was beautiful and quiet - just what we were looking for, many thanks! Mrs B, BLACKBURN, Lancashire 20 February 2010
The location was perfect for families, dog lovers, walkers and nature lovers. The caravan was cosy and warm and the lady who showed us around was extremely helpful, directing us to local shops etc. All in all a lovely weekend and we will definitely be booking for next year.! You couldnt improve it any more for us, it was perfect - as a couple in our early fifties this place was ideal! Mrs W, Newton on Ouse, York 14 July 2009
Port Haverigg was a lovely place and we had a very well equipped caravan. Mrs P, Chester, Cheshire 01 July 2009
A nice, quiet park overlooking the sea and close to both Millom and Port Haverigg. Mr H, Chorley, Lancashire 23 March 2009
A good location with peace and quiet and a great place to exercise our dogs. This was our second visit but not our last! Mrs W, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire 14 March 2009
I have family in Millom so use this sight 4+ times a year as do my parents. The lady that meets you can not do enough all you have to do is ask. Plenty of places to walk if you don't want to use the car. Millom and Haverigg are small places but they were booming in the early years before the iron works closed. And very friendly people. Mrs G, London 21 February 2009
Location was great, holiday home was also very clean and well presented and there was plenty of friendly people on site willing to stop and give advice. Mr P, Sale, Cheshire 10 November 2008
Always recommend and my parents stay there to. I always book and they pay. My sister has stayed to and other friends of ours have stayed there to over the years. Mrs G, London 01 November 2008
The accommodation is faultless and very clean, the food and service at the restaurant and bar was second to none. Overall a fantastic place with fantastic people! Mrs W, Altrincham, Cheshire 16 June 2008
I would certainly recommend the site to water sports skiing enthusiasts, as access to the lake and club ski bar were our primary reasons for booking the holiday. The fact that it was dog friendly was also a plus. it is our intention to use the park a couple of times a year. Mr R, Manchester, Lancashire 09 June 2008
This is our second holiday at this park and it won't be our last, the caravan was well equipped and comfortable. It is located so near to all the lakes and next to a beautiful long clean beach, such a friendly site - so relaxing! Mrs I, Liverpool, Merseyside 06 June 2008
For those looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday then Port Haverigg is the place. Untouched by tourism Port Haverigg has an unspoilt charm and is ideal for walkers and nature lovers being situated by a large lake and the beach. Mr F, Bradford, West Yorkshire 27 October 2007
Good accommodation, close to beaches and a nature reserve and also easy walking distance to the nearest town. Mr A, Northwich, Cheshire 25 August 2007
I found on this holiday you can be as active as you wish - there are walks, ski-ing, swimming, mountain climbing and if you wish you can take your bike. We tried everything and we also found time to sit and relax fpr a few days as well! Miss M, Liverpool, Merseyside 28 July 2007
A fantastic location and a lovely, quiet and friendly park that suited us, the children and the dog perfectly! Mrs P, Warrington, Cheshire 21 July 2007
Excellent walks, lovely to watch the wildlife and just a 20 minute drive to the lakes. Port Haverigg is a well run park, - it is clean, well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this holiday location! Mrs R, Telford, Shropshire 09 June 2007
